Detectives from the Devonport Criminal Investigation Branch today charged a 30 year old man from Devonport with two counts of burglary and stealing.

The charges relate to the burglaries of the Penguin and Ulverstone Post Offices overnight on 13 and 14 December 2015 where a large quantity of mobile phones and other electronic devices were stolen valued approximately $4,000.

The man was bailed to appear at the Devonport Magistrates Court on 9 February 2016.
