Man charged with attempted murder over Bridgewater shooting
A 28 year old man arrested early this morning in relation to a shooting at Bridgewater earlier this month has been charged with attempted murder.
The 28 year old man has now been charged with:
Attempted Murder
Carry a firearm with intent to commit a crime.
Possess a prohibited firearm to which a firearms licence may not be issued.
Possess a firearm when not the holder of a firearm licence of the appropriate category
Possess ammunition when not the holder of the appropriate firearm licence.
The man will appear in an out of court sitting of the Hobart Magistrates Court on Saturday morning, 1 September 2018. The court normally commences proceedings at 11.00 am.
