Detectives from Launceston CIB have interviewed and charged a 46 year old Launceston man with arson and aggravated burglary arising from a suspicious house fire in Maitland Street, West Launceston that occurred on Friday 9th July 2010.

The male was detained and is due to appear in an after hours court on Sunday 11th July 2010.
