Police have charged a man with Armed robbery following an incident in Moonah last night.  

Around 11.35pm, a man armed with a knife blade allegedly threatened an employee of a food van on Charles Street, before fleeing with a quantity of cash.  

An 18-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with Armed Robbery and Breach of bail. He was detained to appear before the Hobart Magistrates Court today.  

The male employee was not physically injured during the incident.
