Man charged over Rokeby firearms incident
A 26 year old Rokeby man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm and firearms offences following an incident in Rokeby yesterday morning.
He is currently in custody and will appear before the Hobart Magistrates Court on Tuesday 24 September.
Police allege the alleged male victim and the offender are known to each other and police seized two firearms during the investigation.
Two other people who had been assisting police with inquiries have been released without charge.
As of Monday evening, the victim’s conditions was listed as serious but stable.
