Man charged over Burnie jewellery store burglary
Police have charged a 20-year-old man from Park Grove over the burglary of a Burnie jewellery store earlier this week.
Following information received by members of the public, Tasmania Police searched a Park Grove address yesterday and located a significant amount of stolen property, including watches.
The man has also been charged in relation to a number of other recent business burglaries in the Burnie CBD. He has been charged with three counts of burglary, three counts of stealing, and other offences.
Police do not believe anyone else was involved and would like to thank members of the Burnie community for their ongoing assistance.
The man has been bailed and is expected to appear in court in Burnie on 4 August.
