A 35-year-old Burnie man has been charged over the theft of firearms from a Ridgley residence in March 2019.

Detectives from Burnie CIB have charged the man with one count of burglary, one count of stealing and one count of stealing firearm/firearm part.

He has been bailed to appear in the Burnie Magistrates Court at a later date.
