Man charged over alleged armed robbery incident in Rosny

Police have charged a 25-year-old Mornington man with armed robbery following an incident at a Rosny Pharmacy on Friday evening.

Police will allege the man entered the pharmacy and demanded prescription medication from staff whilst producing a knife. The man left shortly after with various stolen medications. No one was physically injured during the incident.

The man was arrested at Mornington residence this afternoon and has been charged with armed robbery. He will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on 14 August 2024.
