A 20 year old Berriedale man has been charged over an alleged armed robbery at a pharmacy in Montrose yesterday.

The man was charged with:

• Attempted armed robbery
• Four counts of aggravated assault
• One count of common assault
• One count of unlawfully carrying a dangerous article in a public place

He will appear before the Magistrates Court in Hobart later today.
