A 42 year old Maydena man has been charged over an incident at Maydena on Tuesday.

A 63 year old man suffered several stab wounds to the abdomen and arm.  His injuries are serious however not life threatening.

The 42 year old man is also being treated for a knife injury and was charged with one count of Wounding with Intent to Cause Grievous Bodily Harm earlier today.

The man will be appearing in a court sitting this afternoon.
