An isolated incident in New Norfolk early yesterday morning, resulted in the arrest of a 40-year-old man during a planned search at New Norfolk last night.

At approximately 1am (13 March 2025) police responded to an altercation at Downie Circle between two men who are known to one another. As a result of the incident, one person sustained injuries, and a 40-year-old man has been charged with Wounding, and detained to appear before the Hobart Magistrates Court this morning.
