Man charged in connection to Kings Meadows home invasion on 9 January
Launceston CIB have charged a 26-year-old Devonport man with Aggravated Armed Robbery and Assault as part of the ongoing police investigation into a home invasion on Kay Street in Kings Meadows on 9 January. He will appear in before the Launceston court at 8pm tonight.
“Police are still seeking information in a relation to another male offender involved in the incident,” said Detective Acting Inspector John Parker of Launceston CIB.
“Police are also looking for a 1998 faded red Toyota Corolla that was parked on Janet Street near Kay Street at the time of the robbery, and seen travelling on Southgate Drive, Kings Meadows, immediately after the robbery.
“Anyone with information in relation to the second offender, and/or the current location of the corolla is urged to come forward.”
