Police have charged a 37-year-old man from Ulverstone with a number of recent burglaries that occurred at businesses in Sheffield, Latrobe and Penguin.

The business premises were entered late at night and cash and donation tins were taken.

The charges include 7 x Burglary, 7 x Stealing, and 2 x Attempted Burglaries.

The man will appear in the Devonport Magistrates Court at a later date.
