A 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged after willfully and obscenely exposing himself to people in Parliament Street, Sandy Bay, around midday on Monday.

The man was described as being approximately 180cm tall of slim build with brown shoulder length hair, wearing a dark blue and black checked shirt and blue jeans.

The man has been bailed to appear at the Hobart Court of Petty Sessions at a later date.
