At approximately 7:30pm on Friday 11 January 2019 police responded to reports of a gunshot in Pinkard Street, Kings Meadows.

A 26 year old man from Nunamara had received a gunshot wound to his thigh. The man’s injuries are not considered life threatening.

Investigations into the matter are continuing and police are following a specific line of enquiry.
