On Thursday the 3rd April 2014, Launceston detectives charged a 23 year old male from Perth with stealing the Tamar Sea Rescue Service vehicle that was recently stolen from Beauty Point.

The vehicle was recovered in Launceston on the 2nd April undamaged. Police would like to thank members of the public for their assistance in the matter.

The male has been bailed to appear to a later date.
