A 30 year old Longford man has today been charged with a series of Launceston business burglaries.

The Launceston Criminal Investigation Branch has been investigating after multiple businesses were targeted between 27 April and 7 May.

As a result of these investigations, the man was arrested and has been charged with 14 counts of burglary and 10 counts of stealing.

He remains in custody and is due to appear at the Launceston Magistrates Court later this evening.
