At approximately 9:50am today emergency service personnel responded to a single vehicle truck roll over on the Bass Highway at Flowerdale approximately 1km east of the Tollymore Road turnoff.

A laden log truck travelling east had lost control colliding with safety railings before rolling and coming to a stationary position to the side of the roadway, with the load falling to the road verge and off the road surface.

The driver, a 53 year old Wesley Vale man, was taken to the North West Regional Hospital by Ambulance to be treated for non life threatening injuries.

At this current time arrangements are still being made for the removal of the truck and load.

Very minor traffic delays occurred and police thank motorists for their patience.
