Tasmania Police in conjunction with Wildlife Rangers from the Wildlife Management Branch, DPIPWE, advise that as a result of a joint investigation, two people will be charged regarding the deaths of nine little penguins in January this year.

An 18 year old man from Sulphur Creek and a 15 year old youth will face charges under the Wildlife (General) Regulations 2010 and Animal Welfare Act 1993.

Police and Wildlife Rangers would like to thank the members of the public for their interest and assistance in this investigation.
