Police have charged a 37-year-old Launceston man in relation to a wounding incident on Warring Street in Ravenswood early this morning. 

The man has been charged with two counts of wounding, three counts of destroy property, trespass and possess controlled plant product.  

He has been remanded to appear before the Launceston Magistrates Court later today, potentially after hours. 

Police will allege that during the incident a man and a woman received non-life-threatening lacerations from a knife.
