A 27 year old man from Youngtown has been charged with one count of murder, by Detectives from the Launceston Criminal Investigation Branch.

The charge relates to the death of a nine week old baby girl from Deloraine, who passed away at the Royal Hobart Hospital on 6 February 2014.

The man was due to appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court at 2:15pm today.
