An armed offender has committed two robberies at BWS Mowbray Hotel and BWS Retreat Hotel last night.

The robberies were committed between 7:00pm and 7:20pm on 16 July 2015.

Uniform police arrived on scene locating the man still inside the bottle shop at the Retreat Hotel, where he was arrested without incident.

The 19-year-old man from Hadspen was interviewed by detectives and charged with both robberies.

He was been remanded in custody to appear at 11:30am on 17 July 2015 in the Launceston Magistrates Court.
