Latrobe Incident

Police are investigating a report of a man allegedly entering a private yard in Latrobe on Friday morning and attempting to speak with children at that address.

“Police advise any parent with concerns to reiterate a stranger danger message with their children and to be alert and but not alarmed,” said Sergeant Anthea Maingay.

The man who allegedly entered the backyard uninvited is described as being in his mid-30’s with short black/greying hair, medium build, approximately 160cm in height with olive complexion with a goatee.

He was reportedly driving a black painted Ute with a “home” paint job.

“Police would like to speak with anyone who matches the above description, has information relating to the identity of the man or who has seen a similarly described vehicle in the Latrobe area,” she said.
