A youth has been charged with the Aggravated Robbery at Jo’s City Express Shop in Launceston just before 6pm last night.

The youth is to appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court, Youth Justice Division, this morning in relation to this matter and other unrelated matters.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident and ask for anyone with information relating to the robbery to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 (this can be done anonymously) or Launceston CIB on 131 444.
