Hobart Criminal Investigation Branch detectives are investigating a burglary of a private residence in Edge Avenue Lenah Valley that occurred on 9 May between the hours of 3:15 pm and 4:45 pm.

A large quantity of older style jewellery was stolen during the burglary and police are appealing to members of the public who may have seen any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area between these times.

Police would also like to hear from anyone being offered jewellery at discount prices.
