Tasmania Police continue to investigate the disappearance of Helen Munnings, who was last seen on the Bass Highway Burnie on 23 July 2008.

Detective Inspector Robert Gunton the officer in charge of Burnie Criminal Investigation Branch said: “This month marks three years since Helen was last seen, the investigation into her disappearance remains open and active, we continue to investigate any credible information received.”

Tasmania Police have received emails from various members of the public requesting information regarding the investigation, Detective Inspector Gunton said, “As Helen’s disappearance remains an active investigation, we will not be responding to individual requests for information.”
