Investigations continue into Coles Kings Meadows armed robbery
Investigations are continuing into the armed robbery which occurred at Coles supermarket in Kings Meadows last night.
Police were called to the supermarket shortly before 8pm after a man filled a trolley with goods and attempted to leave the store. When confronted by a staff member the man produced a knife and threatened staff before fleeing with the trolley.
The trolley and contents were recovered outside the business and the offender fled on foot. Multiple police units attended the scene but he was not located.
No staff members were physically injured in the incident.
Police would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the man in the area.
The offender was described as being in his late teens to early 20s, between 180 and 184cm in height with brown hair and wearing a dark coloured hooded jumper with an orange hood lining, light coloured pants and black shoes.
