Investigations are continuing into an incident at the Burnie Dogs’ Home at Wivenhoe last week where three men received stab wounds following an altercation.

Police were called to a report of a wounding at the Dog’s Home in Stowport Road about 10.30pm on Wednesday 30 November.

Detectives interviewed one of the wounded men yesterday and are in the process of interviewing the second wounded men this morning.

The forensic examination of the scene was completed yesterday.

The two wounded intruders are both recovering and expected to be transferred to the North-West Regional Hospital later this week.

No charges have yet been laid.
