We are aware of intermittent problems nationally with Triple Zero (000) this morning – if you require emergency assistance for any emergency call Triple Zero FIRST, if this doesn’t get through, call the Police Assistance Line on 131 444 and you will be transferred to the relevant emergency service.

The intermittent issue with Triple Zero (000) is also affecting the Tasmania Fire Service monitored fire alarm system. If your premise is connected to the Fire Service and your fire alarm activates you must call Triple Zero to alert TFS. If this doesn’t go through, call the Police Assistance Line on 131 444 and you will be put through to TFS.
