Detectives from Bridgewater CIB are investigating reports of a firearm discharge in the vicinity of a home in Cowle Road, Bridgewater.

Between 7pm and 9pm on Saturday 31 May 2014 damage was caused to the private residence in Cowle Road at Bridgewater.  The damage was later discovered to be consistent with shotgun pellets.

Neighbours reported what they believed to be the sound of a firearm being discharged in the vicinity.

Enquiries have revealed that the occupants were home at the time of the incident however did not report the matter to police until the following morning.

No-one was injured as a result.

Bridgewater CIB would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have heard anything suspicious at the time.
