Injured 44 year old male located in New Norfolk 19 October 2021
Tasmania Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a male with significant head injuries, in New Norfolk during the early hours of Tuesday 19 October 2021.
A 44 year old male was found unresponsive by Ambulance Tasmania members on Andrew Street, New Norfolk. The male suffered a number of significant head injuries including a substantial laceration to his ear, in addition to multiple injuries to his face and skull. The male is currently in a stable condition at the Royal Hobart hospital however, he will require extensive treatment and rehabilitation in the coming weeks and months.
Initial investigations indicate the male was intoxicated at the time and may have been involved in confrontations with people in the Andrew Street area prior to being located.
