At about 2.00pm Sunday 17^th March 2013 police attempted to intercept a red Magna Sedan being driven the wrong way down Burnett Street North Hobart. 

After initial attempts to apprehend the vehicle were called off the vehicle was later seen on the Brooker Highway near the Park Street intersection.  At this time the Magna has driven into a police vehicle.

Police would like to hear from any witness to either driving event, particularly the driver of a white Holden Captiva who was seen flashing his lights at the Magna on Burnett Street.

Police would also like to hear from any person who has knowledge of this Magna and the identity of the driver.
