About 10am on Monday 13/1/2014 Police responded to a report of a disturbance at a unit in Turners Crescent, Shorewell. A 44 year old man presented around that time to the North West Regional Hospital, Burnie, suffering injuries.

Police attended and commenced an investigation into the reported altercation and the injuries to the man. He did not wish to make a complaint. Police believe that the injuries sustained were not of a serious or life threatening nature.

Police have concluded their investigation. Local residents should not be concerned following the incident which information indicates was an altercation between two men who were known to each other.
