Two men will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court following an incident at the Welcome Stranger Hotel in Hobart during the afternoon of 22nd August.

The men, aged in their twenties, have been charged with Attempted Aggravated Robbery and assaults committed on two staff members of the hotel. 

No weapons were involved in the incident. One staff member was treated at hospital and released and the other staff member has minor injuries.

Police would like to hear from any members of the public who witnessed the incident.
