Police are investigating an incident alleged to have been committed in the early hours of Sunday 31 July 2016 in the Huon region.

The incident during which a person was assaulted is believed to be targeted; no further details can be provided at this stage as it may lead to the identification of the victim.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen a Nissan four wheel drive, travelling with a smaller vehicle the Huon area, between approximately 3am and 6am on Sunday 31 July 2016.
