DNA testing has confirmed that remains found during an extensive police search belong to one of the two remaining missing men following a fishing trip on Sunday 31 July.
The man has been identified as:
Aleksandar Drobnjak, 26, of Rosny.
The bodies of Magnus Julian Ritter, 34, of Cambridge and Luke William Davies, 32, of Mt Nelson were recovered from waters near Sloping Main on Monday 1 August.
The search for the remaining missing man continues today. The police vessel Van Diemen is equipped with a sonar scan and diving will occur again tomorrow.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner regarding the incident. Our thoughts are with the families involved.
