At approximately 6.50pm on Wednesday 1 May 2013, a structure fire was reported at 54 Tottenham Road Gagebrook.  Tasmania Fire Service and Police attended and the fire was extinguished before any major structural damage occurred. 

The house is a privately owned property and no one was home at the time of the fire; damage is estimated to be around $50,000. 

Preliminary investigations indicate that the fire was deliberately lit, and police are appealing to members of the public for any information that may assist with investigations.
