Police are calling for witnesses following a house fire at Smiths Road, Preston on Monday.

The residence had been unattended over the past weekend, and the fire was only found when they attended Monday morning.

The scene has been inspected by Tasmania Fire Service investigators and Police. The cause has not been determined at this stage.
