HOUSE FIRE – ESPLANADE, QUEENSTOWN

At around 0100hrs on 27/8/14, Police were called to a structure fire at a house on the Esplanade, Queenstown.

The property was well ablaze at the time of detection, and was completely destroyed.  The value of damage is estimated at approximatley $300,000.

The house was an occupied rental, but no one was present at the address at the time of the fire.

Fire scene examiners attended the scene and the cause of the fire is undetermined at this stage.
