At 2230hrs on Monday 27th January 2014 police and personnel from Tasmanian Fire Service attended Carlton Place in relation to a house fire.

The residence was unoccupied at the time and is owned by Housing Tasmania. Police and Fire scene examiners deemed the fire as suspicious and are conducting further enquiries in relation to the incident.
