At approximately 8.00pm on Thursday 9 August 2012, Tasmania Police and the Tasmania Fire Service were notified of a house fire at 56 Scott Road, Bridgewater.

As a result of ongoing investigations carried out since the night of the fire, a 17 year old male from Brighton has today been interviewed by police, and will be

dealt with through the Youth Justice Act.

The house, owned by Housing Tasmania, was valued at approximately $250,000 and was destroyed by the fire.
