At approximately 7.35pm on Wednesday evening, a residence in Fraser Street Rosebery was engulfed in flames.  Fire brigade units from Rosebery and Zeehan attended and took over an hour to fully extinguish the blaze.  A lone 61 year old female resident suffered minor burns and was conveyed to the North West Regional Hospital for treatment.

The $100,000 residence was completely gutted in the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation at this stage and investigations are continuing.
