Police are continuing to search the southern Tasmanian area for a male person of interest who allegedly ran from the Hobart Magistrates Court yesterday afternoon.

Bodie Savage, 30, of Clarendon Vale, was believed to be wearing grey track pants and black shoes (he has since removed the black hoody), reportedly ran from court yesterday afternoon after attending court and being sentenced to a period of imprisonment.

While he is not considered to be a risk to the public, police are asking community members not to approach him.
