Hobart CIB is continuing its inquiries into the death of a man in Hobart’s CBD, whose body was discovered around 2am on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as a 47 year old man who had been residing in Hobart. His next of kin has been notified. Our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones at this difficult time.

At the time of being located, the man was wearing a black zip up polar fleece top, grey track pants and white sandshoes. Also located with him was a dark blue backpack and a black coloured Piping Hot back pack.
