Detectives from Devonport CIB have charged a 59 year old man from Latrobe with sex offences dating back to 1980.

The man appeared in an after hours session at Devonport Magistrates Court on Sunday 18 September 2016.

He was charged with Rape x 3, Aggravated Sexual Assault x 2, and Indecent Assault x 3.

All charges are historical complaints. Police will allege the offences took place between 1980 and 1992, against four victims.

The 59 year old will next appear in the Devonport Magistrates Court on Thursday 22 September 2016.
