High Speed Learner
At 2145 hours on Saturday 21/9/2013 a vehicle was detected travelling at 131km/h on the Bass Highway, Carrick. The vehicle was intercepted and the driver, a 20 year old female, was found to be an unaccompanied learner driver.
As a result of the excessive high speed the vehicle was clamped for 28 days.
The driver will be summoned for the following offences –
- Exceed speed of 80km/h namely 131km/h
- Being an unaccompanied Learner Driver
- Failing to display “L” plates as required.
