High Range Speeding Detected Smithton

Police will be proceeding against a 62 year old man from Smithton after he was detected driving his vehicle at 158km/h in a 100 km/h per hour zone. The Range Rover Sport was detected by police at 1:40 pm yesterday as it travelled past South Road at Forest on its approach into Smithton.
Subsequently, the vehicle has been clamped for a period of 28 days and the man faces a four-month licence disqualification.
Police are seeking for any members of the public who may have witnessed or have dash camera footage of the driving behaviour around that time.
