Devonport police have charged an 18 year old man with drink driving following a crash on Nixon Street, Devonport around 9pm last night.

The disappointing factor is the driver held a provisional licence and recorded a reading three times the legal limit and immediately had their licence disqualified.

Police would like to remind motorists that drink driving will not be tolerated and to consider the high risk dangers posed by drink driving to other road users and themselves.
