On Sunday 30/3/14 the Westpac Rescue Helicopter flew two consecutive missions.

At 12:45pm the crew were tasked to attend the Oatlands motocross track where a 17 year old Ravenswood youth was seriously injured when he crashed his motocross bike during a sanctioned race. The youth was treated at the scene by St. John Ambulance volunteers and then flown to the Royal Hobart Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Immediately after this mission the helicopter was activated to Wineglass Bay where a 57 year old Victorian man had fallen ill and was unable to walk. He was subsequently collected and flown to Coles Bay.
