At 2:20pm on Monday 14/1/14 Tasmania Police Search and rescue received a request for assistance at Wineglass Bay on the Freycinet Peninsula.

A 67 year old South Australian woman had fallen and suffered a suspected broken ankle.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to the incident and the woman was flown from the area to the Royal Hobart Hospital.
